Texas is blooming!!

Love living in hill country!! On our way home from antique junkin in the Warrenton & Round Top area and of course had to eat yummy lunch at Royer's Cafe. We saw a beautiful field of flowers and couldn't resist! Had to stop and get some photos of Abigail in these beautiful flowers.
It's been a wonderful birthday weekend! Enjoying the simple things!!

March 2010

The weather has been perfect here in Bellville, Texas! Abigail enjoys going out exploring, one day she sat exploring rocks, the next day it was acorns.
For my birthday the family headed to Austin. First stop, visited the Wooster's, so I could finally hold and meet the new addition to their household, baby Winnie. A week old and oh so precious, instant love! Of course when in Austin we have to eat at our favorite places, Magnolia Cafe, Kerby Lane, and Wholefoods. Yes we did our walk and stopped at Zikler Park and Abigail took her first train ride. She loved the wind blowing through her hair and enjoyed riding. At the hotel she got her first daddy horse ride, giddy up I say!

Abigail is growing up so fast. But she still is my baby, love cuddling with her!! She gives some of the best hugs!!

Tonight will have movie night and enjoy some yummy apple pie, yep that is right, no birthday cake but pie for me!! Not much a fan of cake.

Feeling so blessed and grateful!! I have the best husband, daughter, family, and friends a person would wish for!! Thank you everyone!!

We're going to the zoo, zoo, zoo, how about you, you, you...

On this beautiful sunny 70 degree weather we packed up this morning headed out for breakfast at The Hill and it was yumo to my surprise. Who would have thought a burger joint could have a good breakfast and cheap too! Then we went to the Houston Zoo! What a fun family day!! Abigail enjoyed looking at the animals and we all had a great time!

18 months old

On Friday, Abigail turned 1 1/2 years old, still hard to believe how fast she is growing. She had her 18 month appointment and is healthy little girl! She is 30 1/4" tall and weighs 23 lbs. Of course cute as ever!! She got her first balloon at her appointment and loved it. Loved it so much that she wanted to bring it with her every where and if she accidentally let it go she would get upset. So finally we let the balloon go outside. She watched it go into the sky and that was the end of her balloon fun and she was happy with that!

One of our good friends in Bellville, Marci got Abigail this cute hat. All the proceeds go to benefit Layla Grace, if you have not heard of her story here is a link to her page Forewarn you, you will need Kleenex.

Abigail and I had another great week at the church nursery working!

Hubby has been working a lot, but yesterday we were able to spend the day together and enjoy some sunshine at the park! We are looking forward to celebrating our birthdays this month! Hoping the railroad will allow us to get away for a night to The Falls Golf Resort!

Excited to share, opportunities are growing for me in yoga! In addition to teaching at the Yoga Haus. I will also be teaching a few classes at the end of the month at The Fitness Center/Gymnastics Center of Bellville. Will be introducing yoga to a group of boot-camp gals! In addition I was also asked to teach yoga to the Girl Scouts at their lock-in. I am looking forward to teaching yoga to children and see where that will go. It is something I am interested in and am looking into additional training in. I am also going to start teaching private yoga sessions too. Yoga has been so helpful for me personally, I feel so blessed to be able to share it with others! In addition I have lots of volunteer projects I am working on too! Feel very grateful for all these wonderful opportunities, plus my husbands work and support, which allow me to do these things while being a stay at home mom for our daughter.
