Mom and Loving It: Finding Contentment in REAL Life by Laurie Lovejoy Hilliard and Sharon Lovejoy Autry http://mom-andlovingit.blogspot.com/

Two real moms—with six kids between them—inspire women to find purpose in nurturing their children and cherishing the present with the families that God has given them. Fresh voices in the mom arena, Laurie and Sharon, who happen to be sisters, are compassionate and transparent as they share from their lives and offer practical help to lift the weight of motherhood through real stories from real moms with real struggles and real victories using scripture and Bible passages. Each chapter ends with Stop, Drop, and Restore your Soul followed by Making the Most of the Moments. “Love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind and strength . . . making the most of every opportunity . . . as you sit at home, walk along the road, lie down and get up.” (Mark 12:30, Eph. 5:16, Deut. 6:7) Book Cost: $12.00

SUMMER 2011 SEMESTER STUDY-Starts June 14th

Real Moms, Real Jesus by Jill Savage

What does Jesus know about the peanut-butter-and-jelly life of a mom? Plenty? Jill Savage, found and director of Hearts at Home, introduces the real Jesus to real moms. In chapters that examine key behaviors and decisions Jesus made during His life on earth, Jill brings those lessons right down to the laundry-filled, sticky-finger days every mother knows. Between the chapters are interactive vignettes that turn the concept of the book back around. If the meat of the content is looking at Jesus’ life on earth and understanding how to apply that in our everyday lives, these perspective vignettes are brief, refreshing glimpses starting with our own messy, busy lives. Jill continually reminds the reader that Jesus is not an unattainable deity, but a Friend who understands. Book Cost: $

FUTURE UPCOMING BOOK STUDIES:

Wisdom for Mothers by Denise Glenn. Is an eight-week study that will help you find Biblical answers to your important questions about marriage, children and work. In addition to the Bible study, you will learn to improve your mothering skills and will find helpful mothering tips designed for moms of all ages at the end of each lesson. Based on Proverbs 31.
