It's a wrap up...

This week we have been busy with Vacation Bible School at our church. The theme is JOY (Jesus, Others, You)! Here is our theme song, Abigail and I love it!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uY03LAOc1ro  This year I am volunteering as one of the guides, it can be crazy at times, but it has been a blessing to see those little one's participate and learn about Jesus, plus it has been so much fun!!! So proud of our church and all those that had a hand in putting together a fabulous VBS!!!

Just a few blogs I read worth sharing:

The best parenting advice I have read..."If we carry on in grace, and stay in the light, we can do this thing called life. And we can do it fairly well."-See more at: http://sarahmae.com/2013/07/my-best-bit-of-parenting-advice/

"In God’s upside down Kingdom, moms are the logical solution to change the world. We serve on our knees, cleaning up boy bathrooms. We bend low scooping up toys and messes.
You there, changing your 6th diaper of the day while you watch your 4 year old daughter change her clothes again, and your son searching the couch cushions for change—your day-in-and-day out service to your family is life-changing. Mom, you saying yes, right where you are–that makes you a world changer. This is the truth we need to believe." -See more at: http://wearethatfamily.com/2013/07/the-biggest-lie-moms-believe/

Mean girls and yes they do exist unfortunately. I had to deal with some when I was a teenager and this is some great advice I will be sharing with my daughter."No darling, it means that we learn to be braver than the mean girls. We out-love them. That is the secret weapon. To pour on the unexpected love. To meet them with open arms and mind, knowing that meanness is what bleeds from scars at their most raw." - See more at: http://lisajobaker.com/2013/07/what-i-want-my-daughter-to-know-about-the-mean-girls-2/
