First FRIDAY of August!

Happy Friday!! Friday also means movie night in our house too!! Today or tomorrow we will go check out a tractor show, something little man will enjoy so much!

This week worked on getting ready for M.O.M. Group. We have several new moms joining our group this year! Love how our group keeps growing and how the moms are coming together in friendship and helping one another! It is going to be an exciting and inspirational year, as we meet for Bible study, fellowship, play-dates, and mom nights out! Can't wait to see what God does this year! If you would like more information, please check out this link http://www.firstmissionary.net/#/ministries/mom-group-fall-2014  or contact me, it is open to mom's of all ages in our area. We are finishing up on our MOM cookbook, can't wait to have the printed copies! Stay tuned for how to get one for yourself!

Did some cleaning out this week in our house, donating and selling things we do not use. Also this week finished up plans for our homeschool room and year ahead! Raising Arrows Academy starts Monday!! Can't wait, kindergarten here we come!
Psalm 127: 3-5
“Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD,
The fruit of the womb is a reward.
Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,
So are the children of one’s youth.
Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them;
They shall not be ashamed,
But shall speak with their enemies in the gate.”

We tried some new recipes, been eating more paleo, It is easy to do this time of year with all the fresh vegetables! Squash spaghetti was the favorite this week for my husband and I. We all loved the tuna patties, and chicken drummies with veggies!   All from the Everyday Family Paleo cookbook.

This week here are a few reads:

The fact is, my kids are not ready to hear all the messages the world has to offer. They are not adults living in tiny bodies. They’re children learning to navigate their way through this world. And pop culture is not the voice I want dictating who my children become, how they think, and how they behave. http://kellistuart.com/guarding-their-minds/
