Ahhh Friday!!!

Wrapping up week 5, moving onto week 6 next week for school! This week been crazy fun week! There was Labor Day, birthday celebrating, school work, and water sprinkler fun only way to enjoy the hot days we have been having here this week!! This week Abigail learned about the Vikings, writing sentences and more reading, learning more about the calendar, some addition, and other math fun. Science she has been learning about rivers and mountains this week.
This mama is tired from all the extra activity that has been going on, but feeling blessed! I have started reading through the Bible again, this time I am doing in it a group through Women Living Well with some friends. This week we are reading about Esther. I have to share with y'all just how God orchestrates things together. Our Wednesday ladies group will be starting a book soon, which also ties in lessons from Esther!! Esther is this woman who not only beautiful and chosen by a king to be his queen, but she is also beautiful on the inside. She follows God patiently, she puts others before herself, risking her life, and God uses her to save the people of Israel, amazing story, learning so much from her! Reminds me of a Proverbs 31 woman, an example of a godly woman, who glorifies God in all she does!

This week these were some inspiring posts I read:

To love people well in the long-term I will sometimes have to disappoint them in the short-term.
This is the beauty of turning our attention away from fleshly things that never seem to line up right and on to our unchanging, joyful God!
Yes please…we all need to do this…I propose a new way to combat distraction, routine, and busyness.
Eat less, move more. Buy less, make more. Stress less, laugh more. Feel blessed, love more. Find a quiet place each day and breathe.
I struggle with decisions. I don’t want to miss out on opportunities, mess up relationships by disappointing people, or misstep right out of God’s will.
Did you wake up this morning with a long to-do list and an ambitious mindset? When distractions come your way, try pausing for a moment to see if God is unwrapping a divine appointment for you. It may be disguised as ordinary circumstances. But as you peel back the layers, whispering "Yes Lord, I'll obey," you will no doubt experience His presence and glory!

He has us right where he wants us. Friends, we are a powerful force.  We can do great things and reflect Jesus to the world in the middle of our daily grind.

This rock is no some small stone we can easily step onto. It is huge, like an enormous mountain (Ps. 36:6), so massive that we cannot climb it on our own. But what I often forget is that when God saved me, he not only lifted me out of the pit of death, out of the mud and mire, but he also placed my feet on Christ, my Rock (Ps. 40:2). All Christians need to remember the character of this Rock upon which we stand.

Song this week:
And greater is the One living inside of me
Than he who is living in the world
Bring your doubts
Bring your fears
Bring your hurt
Bring your tears
There’ll be no condemnation here
You are holy, righteous and redeemed
