Christmas Love Letters from God~review and give away!

OH my, this children's book, by Glenys Nellist~ Christmas Love Letters from God! I see this easily becoming a favorite in our house!! My children adore the story and especially the special love letters from God throughout the book!! We read this the other night together, my daughter read parts of it and could easily read this herself, but I see this as more of a book that will bring out great discussions! There are some questions in a few of those love letters from God, which provide deeper thought and discussion. Also each story references scripture verses that go with the story, so you could read those in your Bible along with the story. This book filled my soul and I can not wait to use it this Christmas season to share the story of Jesus! I would suggest reading a story a day, starting the week before Christmas day. There are seven short stories in this book, that tell the story of Jesus being born and the real meaning of the Christmas season! Another great thing for gift giving or to make the book extra special, you can write you child's name on each of the Love Letters from God that our throughout the book!

For those interested, this author has another book called Love Letters from God, this is the first one. I am personally going to have to get this book, as I love the Christmas edition of Love Letters From God so much!

I am excited that I am able to give away one book to one of my readers, so as usual, be sure to comment or like the post no later than, Monday, November 14, 2016

From our wonderful promotions company, FlyBy:

Written for children ages four to eight, Christmas Love Letters from God cleverly combines both prose and poetry as the story of Jesus’ birth unfolds. The book includes seven stories, beginning with Isaiah’s prophecy and ending with the visit of the wise men. Following each story, the child will find his or her own letter from God, folded into a small envelope attached to the page. Each letter begins with a space in which to write the child’s name, so each one can be specially addressed to the child.
Written as if God is speaking, each personalized message gives the young reader a sense of wonder as they discover anew the Christmas holiday and the birth of Jesus. A very special Bible verse, entitled God’s Perfect Promise, also accompanies each story and letter as God’s personal words of love, promise, and hope.
