The other day in the mail, arrived a box with two cute books in it. Right away my daughter says oh let's read them now. Of course, I saw that one was an actual Bible and that really excited me!! Every girl will want to have this book and Bible!

The Bible
First the Storybook Bible, is a collection of the well-known stories throughout the Bible, told in a story form. My daughter loves princesses and reading fairy-tales, because there fun stories, but also they always seem to have happy endings, which is similar to the Bible, except the Bible is the true Word of God! The Bible has the best ending, a happy ending for us believers!! The storybook Bible puts the Biblical stories into story form that start out with Once Upon a Time.... and then go on to tell the Biblical story. At the end of each story is a Happily Ever After section, which provides the lesson and an application to do. We are enjoying reading these at night-time before bed. My son likes the pictures throughout this book!
The second book, is actually the Bible, in a version (NIrV) for younger readers to understand and sprinkled throughout are a few of the great stories in color. At the end of the book is a dictionary and an index providing a list of the great Bible stories. My daughter was excited about this section, as she knows most the stories and she liked being able to find where the story is in the Bible.

With Easter coming up, these would make a great gift for the young girls in your life. Unfortunately there is no give-away with this one, but I encourage you to check it out and consider giving one to your daughter, granddaughter, cousin, student, and/or young girl in your life!
